We are interested to receive applications from ambitious individuals keen to pursue research in Aerospace Vehicle Systems at the University of Manchester in fields including:

• Application of machine learning for smart behaviours of aerospace robotics in complex environments
• Aerodynamics of novel flight controls for low observable flight vehicles
• Unmanned air vehicle countermeasures – smart systems for protecting ground and airborne assets from drone attack
• Virtual and augmented reality approaches to visualising flight
• Evolutionary robotics approaches to future air vehicle design
