There are still a few places left on the University Language Centre’s Academic Writing Tutorial Service: this free provision is available to PGR students at the University of Manchester.

These one to one sessions last approximately one hour and give students the opportunity to receive expert help in improving their written academic work. To apply, please follow these instructions:

• complete a request form
• email tutorials@manchester.ac.uk with a recent sample of your writing: (it must be 900 – 1500 words in length): this could be part of an essay, dissertation, research proposal or project).
