New digital archive – archives of sexuality and gender part 3

by | Sep 10, 2019 | News | 0 comments

From 3 September until 4 October we have trial access to the database Archives of Sexuality and Gender, Part 3

The Library already has permanent access to Parts 1 and 2 of this database, which contain material on LGBTQ History since 1940. Part 3 contains material on sex and sexuality from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries, drawing on digitised collections from the Kinsey Institute, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Private Case at the British Library.

I am hoping to make a case for permanent access to Part 3, and I would be grateful to hear from anyone who thinks that the database might be useful for their research.
