Would you like to make a societal impact through the private sector? Would you like to unlock and accelerate your impact, inspire industry, and create a purpose-driven career?

ABaCuSS will nurture social science PhD students to engage with businesses, and to consider new approaches to the generation of impact from social science research, as well as providing new avenues for existing for-profit businesses to engage with social scientists. ABaCuSS will help you to engage with industry, showcasing your research and skill-sets, exchanging knowledge and innovation with the private sector. ABaCuSS will drive real-world use of your innovative, word-leading research, allowing you to gain new skills, widen networks for future collaborations, provide a platform to develop business relationships, and build new career opportunities for you. We are building an online platform to tackle some of the challenges that PhD students face in talking about your research in industry, using your skillsets in different ways, and will help industry partners understand the purpose, objectives and utility of social science research.
