The German Historical Institute London will hold its 26th postgraduate research students conference on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 January 2022. Its intention is to give postgraduate research students from the UK and Ireland working on German history an opportunity to present their work-in-progress and to discuss this with other students working in the same field.

This conference is for postgraduate research students studying German History at a UK/Irish university from the middle ages through to contemporary history. It is especially suitable for 2^nd and 3^rd year candidates to assist using research facilities and obtaining grants.

Please note that all 2^nd and 3^rd year students are encouraged to present a paper on their PhD project.

Please note that accommodation and/or travel costs will be reimbursed by the GHIL, but only for those who attend the entire event.
