Screen Studies Conference 2021 – registration closes Sunday 13 June

The 30th International Screen Studies Conference, organised by the journal Screen

The conference takes place online from Friday 25 June to Sunday 27 June. 

Over 100 speakers will present papers on a wide range of topics in screen studies, and a thematic strand will focus on the impact upon screen-based media ideas and practice of calls across academia and beyond to decolonise, de-centre or de-Westernise established creative canons and intellectual approaches.  

This theme will be addressed by our keynote speakers: 

Professor Priya Jaikumar, University of Southern California; 

Professor Song Hwee Lim, Chinese University of Hong Kong; 

Professor Ravi Vasudevan, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi. 

Fees are £40 (waged) / £20 (student/unwaged). Registration closes on Sunday, 13 June, 11.30pm (BST).
