{"id":2411,"date":"2019-11-27T11:26:57","date_gmt":"2019-11-27T11:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.manchester.ac.uk\/bmh-athena-swan\/?p=2411"},"modified":"2019-11-27T11:28:13","modified_gmt":"2019-11-27T11:28:13","slug":"women-in-cancer-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.manchester.ac.uk\/bmh-athena-swan\/2019\/11\/27\/women-in-cancer-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Women in Cancer Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We are a network of women working in all aspects of cancer research across the Manchester Cancer Research Centre partners: University of Manchester, CRUK MI and the Christie\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although collective, positive advances towards gender parity are being made, there are still many underlying issues which continue to inhibit women advancing their careers.\u00a0 Our\u00a0network aims to rebalance these challenges by encouraging our members to integrate.\u00a0 We welcome all roles, backgrounds and experiences so we might share, learn and grow.\u00a0 Through regular, focussed events, we can create a positive and welcoming alliance where connections can be made, mentoring relationships develop and we can confidently aspire to be the very best version of our self.
