To celebrate International Women\u2019s Day<\/span>\u00a0the School of Health Sciences Athena Swan committee have organised a month of celebrations to highlight the contributions of women during the Covid-19 pandemic. We started off with our excellent speaker on 9<\/span>th<\/sup> March – Dr <\/span>Pragya Agarwal<\/span>,\u00a0behavioural scientist, inclusivity consultant, two timeTEDx speaker, and an author and founder of research think-tank The 50 Percent Project<\/em><\/strong>. She was named as one of top 100 influential women entrepreneurs in the UK for 2018-19, and one of 50 on the ‘High and Mighty<\/strong>‘ List making an impact in the India-UK corridor. She regularly appears on global radio and television platforms including BBC Women’s Hour<\/strong>, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Breakfast, Australian Broadcasting Service and Canadian Radio.<\/p>\n
