The Bodies, Environments and Material Culture Collective’s heritage digital microscopy collection has been built thanks to both internal investments, including UoM’s ‘Investing in Success’ and ‘ICSF/CSF funds for e-research’ schemes that testify to the University’s broader commitment to growth and further investment in this area of research.

Our heritage digital microscopy activities have been a pivotal element of successful PGR funding applications to the Economic and Social Research Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and also feature in successful large-scale external grants such as:
