We invite you to attend an on-line conversation among Black and Indigenous artists and creative practitioners who are staking out new territory in the art world in Latin America, challenging art museums, cultural institutions, theatres and publishers in relation to questions of racism and racial difference.\u00a0The conversation will revolve around the following themes. How are Black and Indigenous artists shaping decolonial and anti-racist artistic futures in Latin America? In what ways are Black and Indigenous artists working in Latin America mutually supporting each other to strengthen a shared decolonial and anti-racist agenda? In the current context, what possibilities are available in order to keep furthering anti-racist and decolonial concerns and goals in the art world? The conversation will be held in Spanish and Portuguese. Q&A with the audience to follow.<\/p>\n

Les invitamos a asistir a un conversatorio en l\u00ednea entre artistas y activistas Afrodescendientes e Ind\u00edgenas que exploran el mundo de las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas en Am\u00e9rica Latina, desafiando a los museos de arte, instituciones culturales, escenarios danc\u00edsticos, teatros y editoriales, al cuestionar expresiones dominantes del arte y la producci\u00f3n cultural. Estos cuestionamientos se producen a partir de la cr\u00edtica al racismo y a las diferencias sociales racializadas.\u00a0En este contexto discutiremos los siguientes temas. \u00bfDe qu\u00e9 manera artistas ind\u00edgenas, afrodescendientes y de los sectores populares est\u00e1n pensando el futuro art\u00edstico descolonial y antirracista en Am\u00e9rica Latina? \u00bfDe qu\u00e9 manera estos artistas trabajan y se apoyan mutuamente para fortalecer una agenda descolonial y antirracista compartida en Am\u00e9rica Latina?
