Positive student engagement during the new normal<\/h2>\n

5th CIP Biennial Online Workshop<\/strong>
Monday, 26th April 2021<\/p>\n

In the 5th Centre for Innovation in Pedagogy (CIP) biennial workshop, we will be releasing the results from our research project, on the subject of student engagement in the run-up to and duration of the most recent COVID-19 crisis.<\/p>\n

We will be looking at lessons drawn from the move to online teaching at the University of Manchester with an emphasis on student engagement.<\/p>\n

Our student teams will be presenting the findings from their year-long project on student engagement, and providing a range of student perspectives on the move to blended learning during 2020-21. We will also hear updates from academics and eLearning technologists on early-stage pedagogical projects themed around student engagement.<\/p>\n

The eLearning community and teaching focused lecturers are particularly encouraged to consider attending. This is a great opportunity to network with other academics and learning technologists interested in developing their pedagogical research profiles.<\/p>\n
