\"RensoRenso Gonzales (Lima, 1980) is an illustrator and comics artist. Between 2001 and 2017 he edited and produced, alongside his brother Amadeo, the 20 issues of the comic fanzine Carboncito<\/em>. Currently he has published three illustrated publications: Ilustraci\u00f3n desconocida<\/em> (2007), Perdidos en Lima<\/em> (2009) and After<\/em> (2019), and one of graphic and critical humour: Cr\u00f3nicas covianas<\/em> (2021). He promotes comics from his work place in Lima’s Librer\u00eda Arcadia Medi\u00e1tica.<\/div>\n

\"CarlaCarla<\/span> Sag\u00e1stegui<\/span> Heredia (Lima, 1971) has a doctorate in art, literature and philosophy from the Universidad Pompeu<\/span> Fabra<\/span> de Barcelona, and is a lecturer in Literature in the Departament of Humanities at the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Per\u00fa. She researches oral literatures and Peruvian comics with a particular focus on criticism and gender. She is the author of the short story collection La vida \u00edntima de Madeleine Monroe <\/i>(1994) and the novela El libro<\/i> de Asmodeo <\/i>(2005). She has published a study of collages entitled “C\u00f3mo imagino a los dioses de Huarochir\u00ed” (2018), she wrote the script for Ya nadie te sacar\u00e1 de tu tierra: Primer c\u00f3mic sobre la reforma agraria en el Per\u00fa<\/i> (2019), and is the author of the comic La mujer nueva<\/i> about the political history of Magda Portal which will be published in 2022. She is currently finishing the second volume of Ya nadie te sacar\u00e1 de tu tierra<\/i>, a work about how the life of peasants in Peru was changed by agarian reform, and is starting to work on a script for a comic about a fictitious Peruvian newspaper baron.<\/p>\n

\"\"Alreado Villar Lurquin (1971) studied Linguistics and Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa and History of Art at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. As an art curator he has published several books and organized various exhibitions of Amazonian art such as El milagro verde<\/em> (with Christian Benday\u00e1n) and Usko Ayar: la escuela de las visiones<\/em>, of popular chicha<\/em> art like A m\u00ed qu\u00e9 chicha<\/em> and El pueblo es una nostalgia que alg\u00fan d\u00eda vencer\u00e1<\/em> about the vernacular photographer Nicol\u00e1s Torres. He is also a comics scriptwriter and researcher, and his graphic novel Rupay<\/em>, about the early years of the internal armed conflict in Peru, won a Rockefeller Award in 2004 and was first published in 2008, with further editions being released in Spain (2010), France (2016), Brazil (2016), and Austria (2018). One of his most latest works as a researcher and curator was the exhibition and book B\u00famm! Historieta y humor gr\u00e1fico en el Per\u00fa (1978-1992)<\/em>. More recently he has just finished, alongside Jorge Villacorta, cuarating an exhibition about the legendary comics and graphic artist Marisa for the exhibition space Mir\u00f3 Quesada.<\/p>\n
