In June 2022 the research team visited Buenos Aires to gather materials for the project. They undertook research in the Biblioteca Nacional<\/a>, where they also visited the Centro de Historieta y Humor Gr\u00e1fico<\/a>. During their stay in the city, they also visited the CEDINCI<\/a>, the comics bookstore Punc<\/a>, and met with Luc\u00eda Brutta<\/a>, one of the project artists.<\/p>\n

In August 2022, the Researchers<\/a> and Artists<\/a> of CORALA held their first meeting in the city of Lima, Peru. For one week the team met in Espacio los \u00danicos<\/a> with the aim of discussing how comics have reproduced and engaged with discourses of race in Latin America. The activities carried out by the team aimed to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences of each of its members. <\/p>\n
