Job Opportunity: Research Associate in the PROTECT COVID-19 Study

The University of Manchester is involved in multiple Themes within PROTECT, coordinated through the Thomas Ashton Institute for Risk and Regulatory Research.  Theme 3 is led by Prof Martie van Tongeren and aims to carry out sector specific studies, using mixed method approaches.  Sectors of interest include public transport, food processing, construction, logistics, energy generating. 

The post holder will join an interdisciplinary research team in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine & Health, at the University of Manchester, to carry out qualitative and quantitative studies and (systematic) literature reviews in order to improve our understanding of the risk of transmission in different environments (work, travel, leisure) as well as risk factors for outbreaks in workplaces and other facilities.
