The NCS programme is coordinated by the Government Office for Science. The other NCS are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Clinical Trials Infrastructure:<\/strong>\u00a0building\u00a0on established National Institute for Health Research infrastructure to accelerate delivery of large-scale trials for COVID-19 drugs and vaccines\u00a0<em>(led by Patrick Chinnery, Clinical Director, Medical Research Council and Divya\u202fChadha\u202fManek, Head of Business Development, Vaccines Task Force).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hdruk.ac.uk\/covid-19-data-and-connectivity\/\"><strong><u>Data and Connectivity<\/u><\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0making data from all studies available and accessible to inform decision makers and catalyse COVID-19 research <em>(led by Andrew Morris, Director,\u00a0Health Data Research\u00a0UK).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Epidemiology and Surveillance:\u00a0<\/strong>collecting data to inform levels of restrictions and protection against imminent outbreaks <em>(led by Ian Diamond, UK National Statistician, Office for National Statistics).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Immunity:\u00a0<\/strong>understanding immunity against COVID-19 to inform back-to-work policies <em>(led by Paul Moss, Professor of Haematology, University of Birmingham).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Longitudinal Health and Wellbeing<\/strong>: using data from longitudinal studies to address the impact of COVID-19 and associated control measures on health and wealth to inform mitigating strategies <em>(led by Nishi Chaturvedi, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology, University College London).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section bb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
