EQUITy Patient Resources<\/h1>\n

We are working with NHS Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services across England to carry out research which aims to improve the quality of the telephone treatment you receive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have spoken to\u00a0patients and health professionals to understand their experiences of telephone treatments to identify things that practitioners and services can do to enhance, rather than change the way telephone treatment has been delivered up until now. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have\u00a0developed an intervention that involves professional training, information resources to help patients understand what telephone-delivered treatments are like, and guidelines for services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are providing the patient resources to all patients who receive an appointment from the service. Our information leaflet offers information about telephone treatment, what it involves and what will happen.<\/p>\n

We also provide a downloadable version of the leaflet, and an appointment card, which you might find useful for keeping track of your appointments.<\/p>\n
