\nEye examinations<\/a><\/span><\/span> Providing the Easy Eyecare Pathway in the POLA clinic.<\/p>\n We want to provide accessible eyecare for people with learning disabilities and autistic people. Appointments are adapted to meet your needs, and can be a single longer appointment, or spread over two appointments.<\/p>\n This service can be used by children and adults. The eye examination will still aim to assess your glasses prescription, eye coordination and eye health.<\/p>\n We provide accessible eye examinations for:<\/p>\n Anyone can have an eye examination. You do not need to be able to read or communicate well to have an eye examination.<\/p>\n Depending on where you live, you may be eligible to have an Easy Eyecare Pathway eye examination<\/a>. Don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t appear to be eligible for this, as we will still provide regular no-cost accessible eye examinations for you.<\/p>\n When you contact us (by phone or email) to book your appointment, please mention that you have a learning disability and\/or are autistic. This is important because it means that we can book you in for the correct appointment and prepare the right paperwork for your appointment.<\/p>\n Appointments can be made by contacting the main optometry clinic reception using the contact details below.
