Course Director, Dr Kelechi Anucha<\/a> spoke recently with the Future You podcast about the MA in Arts, Culture and the Environment, which is currently in late-stages of its development. The latest episode of the podcast delves into why the course\u2019s creation, the University\u2019s vision for the course, and how the those who study on the masters can see improvements in their skillset and career.<\/p>\n

In this podcast, Dr Kelechi Anucha describes the rationale behind the course \u2013 providing a course with an openness embedded throughout the course, from its variety of content bound by the central theme of culture and the environment to its placing of diversity, equality and inclusion as a key tenet within its design, incorporating a range of assessment styles.<\/p>\n

The podcast then goes on to elaborate on how the course aims to give students a furthered ability to develop and cultivate their own independent environmentally oriented critical and creative practice. From this, Dr Anucha then proceeds to expand on several key aspects of the courses content, with a particular focus on the core modules \u2013 Critical Ecologies and Creative Ecologies.<\/p>\n

The MA Arts, Culture and the Environment at The University of Manchester is an innovative course exploring the intersections between creativity, culture, and sustainability. It invites students to engage critically with urgent environmental challenges through artistic and cultural frameworks. Students are encouraged to reimagine human-nature relationships and address ecological issues through creative and critical thinking.<\/p>\n
