<\/p>\nI joined the Basketball Club (W2 team) and\u202fgenuinely, it’s been\u202fa\u202fhighlight of my year. Not only did I stay active, but I also met\u202ffantastic\u202fpeople and\u202ffelt more at home.\u202fUnexpectedly, it also led\u202fto a new\u202fcareer direction: I’ve\u202fstarted training as a basketball referee\u2014something I\u2019d never considered\u202fbeforehand but now\u202flove.<\/p>\n
I also joined the Turkish & Northern Cypriot Society, which helped me feel less homesick and more connected. It was comforting to be around familiar culture and meet people with shared experiences.

The jump from undergraduate to postgraduate isn\u2019t about doing more of the same; it\u2019s about doing it differently. With a shift in mindset, solid routines, and the courage to explore beyond the classroom, you\u2019ll not just survive but thrive.<\/p>\n
