MS Teams
MS Teams is a versatile online platform designed to facilitate collaborative working.
Use Teams to set up and run networking workshops, city or campus tours as well as peer mentoring meetings.
Zoom
Zoom is a widely used online conferencing tool.
Set up programme-wide online quizzes or social events such as escape rooms. or cook-alongs. For final year students, set up a career guidance session.
Library H3lp
Library H3lp is a live chat tool that is often used to support students during exam time.
Set up a live chat during induction week or exam time to provide additional support to students.

Adobe Spark
Adobe Spark Page is an app used to create compelling learning webpage resources with ease.
Create a Manchester city or campus tour using Adobe Spark, inserting video and images.
Padlet
Padlet allows you to create and share collaborative digital pin boards.
Run a shelfie completition on Padlet, asking students to send in a photo of their bookshelf. Award a prize to the winner.
VoiceThread
VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slideshow that can include text, images, documents, audio and video.
Use VoiceThread to run an asynchronous alumni Q&A session. Students can watch a video introduction from alumni and add their questions.

Padlet
Padlet allows you to create and share collaborative digital pin boards.
Use the Map layout for a simple icebreaker. Set up anonymous Padlets for asynchronous or in-class discussion or groupwork during breakout rooms.
Piazza
Piazza is an advanced discussion board tool.
Ask students to respond to seminar questions in advance of the seminar or run question and answer sessions after lectures.
TurningPoint
TurningPoint Web allows you to set up polls or quizzes that you can run in or out of class.
Ask students to respond on their own, discuss in a group and then respond again to the same question.
OneNote and Class Notebook
OneNote is a digital notebook which can be shared with groups and worked on collaboratively.
Set up a OneNote or Class Notebook with sections or pages for tasks you want students to collaborate on.
MS Teams
MS Teams is a versatile online platform designed to facilitate collaborative working.
Set up a Teams space for your students and create private channels for groups to use for project planning and collaboration.
VoiceThread
VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slideshow that can include text, images, documents, audio and video.
Introduce yourself before the start of semester and ask students to do the same. Upload a recorded lecture and ask for comments.
