Non-royal consanguineous marriage

Joanne-Marie Robinson’s thesis assesses evidence for non-royal consanguineous marriage in ancient Egypt, explores why some families married consanguineously, and investigates potential economic and biological outcomes resulting from these unions.

Water supply and security

Keith White, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Biology here at Manchester, is applying his expertise in aquatic biology and environmental toxicology to study water supply and security in Ancient Egypt.
