The day also included a selection of interesting talks on the how the immune system can be utilised to\u00a0 fight cancer \u2013 and how manipulating the immune response can result in more effective treatments. Dr Fiona Thistlethwaite also gave an informative talk on the history of iMATCH<\/a> and how it links SMEs, clinicians and researchers with the aim of moving targeted immunotherapies into wider larger scale clinical use.
