There are a number of ways to get involved in our audiology research.

Audiology volunteers

If you are over the age of 18 and interested in participating, register as an audiology study volunteer (no skills or experience necessary).

Active studies with public and patient participants are listed below. Please note, some of these studies may require referral from a healthcare professional.

BAMBINO study (improving hearing tests for babies)

The BAMBINO (Behavioural Audiometry Measures in Babies: Innovation, Novelty and Optimisation) study is working with families and children under 2 years old to improve hearing tests for babies.

Pharmacy use and hearing loss study

Researchers are looking at the experiences of people with hearing difficulties when using community pharmacy (a ‘chemist’). We are looking for people aged 50 or older with and without hearing difficulties to take part in online interviews
