We’re delighted to announce a new post-mortem research tissue programme between the ME association and the Manchester Brain Bank.<\/p>\n

The ME Association Ramsay Research Fund will be funding detailed examinations of the brain, spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion in at least 5 people with a firm diagnosis ME\/CFS who are aged between 18 and 50 at the time of death.<\/p>\n

Our role, as Manchester Brain Bank,\u00a0will be to store post-mortem tissue from the brain and spinal cord of people with ME\/CFS. The tissue will then be made available to researchers who want to use it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
