The Manchester Vision Network (MVN) brings together academics and clinicians from across The University of Manchester and the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.<\/p>\n
Members of our network study vision at all levels, in both health and disorder, from the molecular mechanisms of light detection to the complex brain processes that allow us to see and interact with our environment.<\/p>\n

Award winners present a keynote at the MVN conference.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_button admin_label=”Button: More about the award” _builder_version=”3.17.6″ button_text=”More about the award” button_url=”\/manchester-vision-network\/annual-awards\/the-janus-kulikowski-award\/” \/][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text: Annual conference” _builder_version=”3.17.6″]<\/p>\n The MVN conference was first held in 2018 and has continued annually since then, with two online events in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n The annual conference brings our researchers together, showcases our work and invites excellent external speakers.<\/p>\n At the event, we formally present the Janus Kulikowski Award for best research output that year, as well as awards for the best poster and talk presentation at the conference.
