Bridging the gap between basic and clinical research<\/h3>\n

We are pleased to announce the fifth staging of this annual event that provides a multidisciplinary forum for clinicians (including ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists and specialist nurses), researchers and technology developers interested in ophthalmic and vision science.<\/p>\n

Our main aim is to stimulate individuals from different fields to exchange ideas and potentially establish fruitful collaborations. During the event, there will be ample opportunities for interaction among attendees.<\/p>\n

Abstracts are welcomed on all topics in the realm of ophthalmic and vision research ranging from experimental studies in cellular, animal and computational models to clinical research in humans.<\/p>\n

Particular interest will be devoted to novel techniques that can be applied in both basic and translational research (such as AI applications, imaging techniques, large-scale genomic studies).<\/p>\n

After assessment by the scientific programme committee, abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentations.<\/p>\n

The event will take place on 13 July 2022 in the Zochonis Building, Lecture Theatre B.<\/p>\n

Breaks, food and poster sessions will be located in the Zochonis Hub.<\/p>\n
