use_border_color=&#8221;off&#8221; module_alignment=&#8221;left&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"top\">Staff development<\/h1>\n<p>We provide free PRiME (<strong>Pr<\/strong>ofessionals <strong>i<\/strong>n <strong>M<\/strong>edical <strong>E<\/strong>ducation) staff development workshops and events throughout the academic year.<\/p>\n<p>These are designed to help GP Clinical Placement Supervisors (CPS) and members of the practice team develop their teaching skills and knowledge of the MBChB course.<\/p>\n<p>All PRiME Core: CPS, PRiME Advanced and PRiME\u00a0Team sessions count towards the yearly training requirement of six hours for the practice that is written into your tutor contract, and they can be used for your GP appraisal. Clinical Reasoning is a key part of the MBChB, and in this workshop you will learn what we mean when we talk about CR, and feel confident to teach it.
