The data shows the number of recently bereaved mental health patients who died by suicide in the UK and Jersey from 2012 to 2022, broken down by gender. The total number of suicides increased from 73 in 2012 to 145 in 2022, with a peak of 167 in 2020. The increase was seen in both men and women who had been bereaved.<\/p>\n
