I’m Holly Myers and I am a PPI (patient and public involvement) co-applicant on the DAWN-P study.<\/p>\n

DAWN-P (Digital Assessment of Wellbeing in New Parents) is testing a smartphone app called CareLoop PND to see if it can help detect signs of postnatal depression.<\/p>\n

I joined the PPI group last year after 14 years working as a primary school teacher. I have found the experience really rewarding.<\/p>\n

I attend meetings with the team, PPI group and co-investigators. I have helped review documents and I will be leading the social media strategy for the study.<\/p>\n

After months of getting the study ready, a few participants have now been recruited and are testing the app.<\/p>\n

I will be writing a blog throughout the rest of the study to let you know how it is progressing.<\/p>\n
