We have worked on every sample return mission to date including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apollo, Luna and Chang\u2019e 5 \u2013 samples returned from the Moon\u2019s surface by the NASA Apollo crewed missions, the Soviet Union\u2019s robotic Luna missions, and China\u2019s Chang\u2019e 5 mission<\/li>\n<li>Genesis \u2013 samples of the solar wind returned by NASA\u2019s Genesis mission<\/li>\n<li>Hayabusa 1 and 2 \u2013 samples of asteroids returned by JAXA\u2019s Hayabusa 1 and 2 missions<\/li>\n<li>Stardust \u2013 samples of a comet returned by NASA\u2019s Stardust mission<\/li>\n<li>OSIRIS-REx \u2013 samples of a primitive asteroid returned by NASA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are involved in meteorite recovery expeditions to collect new meteorite samples from Earth field settings. The lander mission will fly to the south polar region of the Moon to drill for samples of lunar soil from around 1 meter in depth. The samples will be delivered to a mass spectrometer to determine the concentration and light isotope (H, N, C, O, noble gases) geochemistry to understand the source and origin of lunar polar volatiles.<\/li>\n<li>DIMPLE \u2013 we are international science team Co-Investigators on a payload which will undertake in situ dating of a volcanic region of the Moon. The experiment will fly on a future NASA Commercial Lander mission to the Moon.<\/li>\n<li>Artemis 3 Geology Science Team \u2013 we have involvement in the science team who will help advise on the geology planning for when humans return to the Moon in the Artemis exploration programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][\/et_pb_accordion][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][et_pb_row_inner admin_label=&#8221;Row&#8221;][et_pb_column_inner type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
