The RE3 team
The RE3 – Rethinking Resources and Recycling – project is a unique collaboration among academic researchers of The University of Manchester across the Faculties of Science and Engineering, Humanities, and Biology, Medicine and Health. We are also working with cross-sector industrial partners (for example retailers, manufacturers and waste processing companies) and local councils to identify opportunities, challenges and key solutions to eliminating plastic waste, including the soft plastics that are difficult to recycle as well as “invisible” microplastics.
