\/][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text: What will happen after the trial?&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"finish\">What happens when I finish the REMORA2 trial?<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of at least 12 months, the study team at The University of Manchester will email you to confirm you are no longer involved in the REMORA2 study.<\/p>\n<p>After 12 months, if you haven\u2019t been to the hospital recently, you will not receive an email to say you have completed the REMORA2 study, until you have seen your rheumatology team.<\/p>\n<p>After 12 months, if you were asked to record your symptoms using the app, you are no longer required to do this, and you can stop. If the study team need you to record your symptoms for more than 12 months (but no longer than 15 months), a member of the study team will email and let you know. A member of the team will email you again when you can stop tracking your symptoms. At this point, your app will be disabled and you will no longer be able to track your symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>However, the REMORA app will still open, and you can still use the diary function. After the last patient has exited the study, you will automatically be notified via the app that the app will stop working.<\/p>\n<p>After this date, you will no longer be able to access the information stored in the diary. Before this date, the study team at The University of Manchester will email you. You will also be given instructions on how to save your personal diary information to your phone or tablet, should you wish to do so.<\/p>\n<p>If you are in the normal care group, when you finish taking part in the REMORA2 trial, you do not need to do anything further. Your clinic appointments and current treatments will carry on as normal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><a href=\"#et-boc\">&lt; Back to top<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"continue\">Can I continue using the REMORA app after the trial has finished?<\/h2>\n<p>No. You will only be able to use the app while the REMORA2 trial is open. Once all patients taking part have completed their 12-month follow-up, the app will be closed. You will no longer be able to track your symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>The REMORA2 trial is a large study involving a number of hospitals recruiting patients over a 6-month period. This may mean that your app still works after you have finished your 12 months in the REMORA2 trial.<\/p>\n<p>The app will send you a notification when it is scheduled to stop working. The study team at The University of Manchester will also email you to give guidance on downloading and saving any diary entries you made, should you wish to do so, and instructions on how to delete the REMORA app from your phone or tablet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><a href=\"#et-boc\">&lt;
