_builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h1>Implementation of 10 high-impact initiatives in urgent and emergency care in England: a rapid exploration (UEC)<\/h1>\n<h2>Phase 1 (February \u2013 April 2024)<\/h2>\n<p>Our aim was to rapidly investigate the implementation and impact of innovations adopted in NHS health and care systems as part of the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Recovery Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Over ten weeks, we investigated the implementation and perceived impact of ten \u2018high impact\u2019 initiatives prioritised in NHS health and care systems under the UEC Recovery Plan.<\/p>\n<p>We conducted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an online survey of systems and providers;<\/li>\n<li>follow-up interviews with systems and providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text: Phase 2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Phase 2 (August 2024 \u2013 October 2025)<\/h2>\n<p>Further evaluation is required to assess the implementation and impact of these high impact initiatives to inform decision-making and future delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Using a mixed-methods approach, we will combine national-level analysis with in-depth exploration of local implementation across multiple case sites.
