About<\/h1>\n

We conceive, design, implement and operate robotic systems to satisfy national and international needs from both a societal and industrial perspective. We also develop robotic systems which enable us to explore the science and design principles of biological systems. Our expertise in robotics is globally relevant and globally renowned encompassing robotics for rehabilitation and extreme environments to bio-inspired systems and soft robotics.<\/p>\n

Our research is open, collaborative and multidisciplinary and this is reflected in the diversity of our research teams. We believe in supporting the development of our team from undergraduate students through to established researchers by inspiring a culture of curiosity and innovation.<\/p>\n
