Effective practice in education<\/h1>\n

Identifying effective practice in the provision of education and education support services for 16 \u2013 19 year old deaf young people in Further Education in England<\/h2>\n

This research study was commissioned in 2012 by the National Deaf Children\u2019s Society (NDCS).<\/p>\n

The aim of this research was to generate a better evidence-base concerning the quality and suitability of post-16 educational provision and educational support services for deaf young people on Further Education for 16-19 year olds. What options and services are available to deaf young people prior to starting FE, during FE and following FE, including personal\/social development, and are they similar to or different from those for hearing young people?\u00a0<\/p>\n
