Digital Skills<\/h1>\n

\u2018Supporting student digital capabilities<\/span><\/a>\u2019 a new resource, produced through the Flexible Learning Programme to support staff involved in curriculum design and delivery, is now available within the Institute for Teaching and Learning\u2019s guidance on \u2018Delivering blended learning.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The resource provides approaches and resources to support embedding digital capabilities in the curriculum, as well as case studies from colleagues sharing their practice.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>You can also share your practice by submitting a case study, or contributing to a future digital capabilities workshop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Launch of Jisc Discovery tool and ‘Develop your digital skills resource’ to Staff<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Supporting student and staff digital capabilities is one of the aims of the\u00a0Flexible Learning Programme<\/a>\u00a0and included in\u00a0Our future<\/a>, our University\u2019s strategic plan.\u202fThe introduction of the Discovery Tool, developed for the HE sector by the digital provider Jisc, is an important step in taking this work forwards.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Discovery tool is a supportive online tool that can help you reflect on your current digital skills experience and confidence. Completing the tool not only gives you a personalised map of your capabilities, it also identifies ways to support your development and provides links to further relevant resources, enabling you to create your own digital development plan.<\/div>\n
