• Development of novel materials and surface coatings for orbital aerodynamics
• Methods for spacecraft end-of-life deorbit and disposal
• Nanosatellite active thermal control methods
• Novel locomotion methods for planetary exploration rovers
• Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) platform and system design for communications applications
