Arts partner of the Art of Peace project, In Place of War, are absolutely thrilled to share to have been shortlisted for the Award for Civic Arts Organisations 2022!

The initiative was created by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation – UK Branch with King’s Cultural Community to celebrate arts organisations who take their civic role seriously, particularly in the last two years.

This year the award focusses on how arts organisations are changing after a period of constraint and disruption; how they are embedding what they have learnt in future plans, and reimagining what it means to take their civic role seriously. They have made it onto the shortlist of 10 arts organisations, out of over 200.

The award is announced in March 2022.
