Minority sexuality<\/h2>\n

It is a feature of the READY cohort that 47 participants self-identify with what can be termed a minority sexuality (i.e. LGBTQ+ and encompassing a wide range of preferred descriptors). <\/p>\n

Our analyses have shown that those deaf young people who describe themselves in different ways as \u2018non-heterosexual\u2019 have poorer health, lower subjective well-being and lower self-determination.<\/p>\n
