Submission
Article submission
We want to accept as many submissions as possible, but to keep everything running smoothly we do have a few requirements. Submissions should be around 3000 – 6000 words, and should be written in size 12 Calibri font. You are encouraged to submit work which has been pre-graded by one of your university lecturers. Also, please include a copy of your institutions signed ethical form, where research has been conducted with human subjects. To ensure that we do not own your work and the article aligned with our ethics please include the signed ethics form we have provided. At the moment we only accept submissions from students at The University of Manchester.
In order to give as many students as possible a chance to shine, submissions will be limited to one per person each year.

Peer review application
We are excited to have you on board as an integral member of the journal. Your specialised interests, knowledge and experience will inform feedback on the articles and the quality of the journal. You will be given an article to review which will be relevant to your field of interest on a topical or methodological level.
We encourage master’s and PhD students to please fill out the form.
The process
Your article will be made anonymous by the editorial team and reviewed by two UoM students and one non UoM student who are most closely related to the topic of the article. Internal submissions will be reviewed by other members of the board, and/or one person from outside. Articles that make the first round of selection will be given feedback and the submitter will be able to make a revision and resubmit for a final decision. The articles which are accepted for the journal will be published online and in print.
