Professor Lee-Suan Teh and Janice Hartley, Royal Blackburn Hospital

The BILAG BR was established 16 years ago to look at the long-term patterns of use and safety of novel therapies in the treatment of SLE. We are delighted to announce the Royal Blackburn Hospital have recruited the 2000th patient to the BILAG BR. 

The register provides a rich resource to look at real-world outcomes of moderate to severe lupus patients in a UK setting, and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the study so far. This includes all the patients who have taken part, as well the >65 NHS sites that have recruited participants and contributed their data.
