We will be working closely with our partners to develop resources for the school’s History curricula that emphasise the importance of (and links between) ‘sufficient sleep’ and ‘time spent outdoors’ for physical and mental health.

Recipes from Sleeping Well at Ordsall Hall:

As part of the project, the team have researched and recreated recipes with sleepy ingredients from the early modern period. Our remaking practices help uncover vital information about the practicalities of making. Through the workshops at Ordsall Hall we have created a collection of tried and tested recipes for you to use at home. Each recipe card also includes information about 16th and 17th century ingredients, recipes and beliefs.
