We are interested to receive applications from ambitious individuals keen to pursue research interests in Biomimetics at The University of Manchester in topics including:
- Biologically inspired jumping robotics – modelling, design and applications
- Machine learning for flight control of agile unmanned aerial vehicles
- Smart hydrodynamic coatings for improved manoeuvring of aquatic robotics
- Virtual and augmented reality approaches to visualising animal flight
- Examining flight evolution through computational modelling and robotics
- Aeroacoustics of flight in birds of prey
