Professor Chris Armitage

Read more about Chris Armitage

Christopher Armitage is Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Manchester and Deputy Lead for the Hearing Health theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. His role is to provide guidance with respect to: (a) behaviour change theory, (b) the use of mixed methods to solve research problems (e.g., conducting the meta-review, designing and analysing the primary research studies), and (c) dissemination of the outcomes to diverse audiences. This research is important because mental health in general is under-researched and is almost non-existent in the Deaf community.
