Some you of may know that we paused recruitment back in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Last week, we were given the official go-ahead from our sponsor, The University of Manchester, to re-start recruitment. This was the last in a long line of approvals from the NHS sites and our funder*, who assessed and agreed that we met the NIHR framework for re-starting the recruitment of studies paused due to COVID-19. We’re looking forward to, once again, offering people the opportunity to take part in the CARMS project.
