The Manchester Centre for Health Economics (MCHE) has a strong presence at ISPOR Europe 2025, taking place in Glasgow from 10 to 12 of November.

MCHE researchers will present a series of health economics and outcomes research studies covering methodological innovation, pharmacoeconomics, and early-stage technology assessments.

On day one, the MCHE team will showcase work in key areas such as discrete choice experimentation for a national UK cervical screening programme, cost-effectiveness analysis of pharmacogenetic testing for children with asthma, and outcome-based healthcare payment models.

Day two includes systematic reviews of economics evaluations of medication safety, self-harm and suicide prevention interventions, novel valuation methods for EQ-5D-5L, and early economic models for gene therapies. On the final day, MCHE presentations will focus on the economic impact of prescription opioid use and social impact investing for rare disease research.

Presentations will feature contributions from MCHE researchers including Amber Salisbury, Mingxuan Wu, Sneha Amritlal, Sainan Chang, Fanyi Su, Tonia Momoh, Sean Gavan, and Bowen Yang.

This strong representation highlights MCHE’s leadership in rigorous, relevant research to support value-based, patient-centered healthcare decision-making.
