Prof Felton has been promoted to Professor of Respiratory and Critical Care Medine in the Division of Infection, Immunity and Respiratory Medicine at the University of Manchester. He contiinues his role as Honorary Consultant in Intensive Care and Respiratory Medicine at Wythenshawe Hospital, part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Tim is Director of the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care (https://hrc-emergency.nihr.ac.uk/) and an Associate Medical Director for Research and Innovation. Tim’s research focuses on precision management (otherwise known as antimicrobial stewardship) in patients wtih respiratory infection. Antimicrobial resistance. Clinical trials to optimise diagnosis and treatment in infection. Antimicrobial therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (including population PK modelling)
