Funding – full application details

During the 2018/19 academic year, artsmethods@manchester has made funds available to support postgraduate researchers.

There are two funding streams  – we seek to fund researcher-led initiatives and postgraduate conferences in all research areas of Arts, Languages and Cultures (broadly defined). The competition is open to postgraduate researchers from across the Faculty of Humanities and we welcome interdisciplinary approaches and applications that are collaborative.

Events organised by postgraduates are expected to enhance the professional development of participants as career researchers. They should have a methodological or theoretical focus and are expected to be interdisciplinary in nature, as well as bringing together research communities from across Manchester, the North West and beyond.

All event proposals should have tangible outcomes and bring together researchers from disciplines across the Faculty.
