About Discover Postgrad

Discover Postgrad will help you learn more about what master’s study involves – and whether it’s the right choice for you. Whether you are pretty sure you want to do a master’s, or don’t really know what it involves, the programme offers something to help you.

This year, it is running in three subject areas:

• School of Biological Sciences (all courses)
• School of Arts, Languages and Cultures (English and related courses)
• School of Social Sciences (Economics and related courses)

All students in those subject areas are welcome to attend, but the programme will be most relevant to home students in either their second or final year of study. A key aim of the project is to encourage those from under-represented backgrounds to apply – particularly if your postcode is in an area of low progression to higher education, or you are from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background.
