Is master’s study for me?

A master’s degree is the next level of study up from an undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree. People do a master’s degree for many different reasons, and in many different ways. You may want to change direction – perhaps to something more vocational. You may want to progress to PhD / doctoral study, and know you need a master’s to do this. You may want to make yourself stand out in your chosen career. Or you may simply love your subject, and want to keep studying it for another year.

Any of these reasons are fine – and all are common! Whether you have considered studying a master’s in detail, or don’t know anything about it and want to learn more, Discover Postgrad has been designed to help you decide what’s best for you.
